چکیده
Concerns about the environment, cost of energy, and safety mean that low-energy cold-mix asphalt materials are very interesting as a potential replacement for present-day hot mix asphalt. The main disadvantage cold bituminous emulsion mixtures is their poor early life strength, meaning they require long time to achieve mature strength. This research work aims study protentional utilization waste by-product filler in with mechanical properties comparable those traditional Accordingly, was prepared utilize paper sludge ash (PSA) cement kiln dust (CKD) substitution conventional mineral percentages ranging from 0–6% 0–4%, respectively. Test results have shown incorporation such reflected significant improvement mixture’s stiffness strength evolution. cementitious reactivity PSA produces bonding inside mixtures, while CKD used an additive activate hydration process PSA. Therefore, based on results, it will be easier build by shortening amount needed reach full curing conditions.

Utilization of Cement Kiln Dust and Fly Ash in Cement Blends in Saudi Arabia
Cement kiln dust produced in a local cement production plant in Saudi Arabia, along with fly ash resulting from combustion of heavy fuel oil in a local power generation plant were utilized as waste materials blended with ordinary Portland cement at various ratios. These blends were tested for their water requirements for normal consistency, initial setting times, and compression and tensile str...
متن کاملUse of Cement Kiln Dust, Blast Furnace Slag and Marble Sludge in the Manufacture of Sustainable Artificial Aggregates by Means of Cold Bonding Pelletization
In this work, three different samples of solid industrial wastes cement kiln dust (CKD), granulated blast furnace slag and marble sludge were employed in a cold bonding pelletization process for the sustainable production of artificial aggregates. The activating action of CKD components on the hydraulic behavior of the slag was explored by evaluating the neo-formed phases present in several hyd...
متن کاملGeotechnical Characterization Cement - Fly Ash –fibers Mix
The fly ash is a waste produced mostly from the burning of coal in thermal power station which contributes to environmental pollution. It is naturally-cementitious coal combustion by-product. Many studies have been reported in the literature on the performance evaluation of soil – fly ash system as well soil-fly ashfiber system. Although ample studies have been reported with randomly distribute...
متن کاملStabilisation of Engine Oil Contaminated Soil Using Cement Kiln Dust
The utilisation of industrial bi-products such as cement kiln dust (CKD) is of increasing importance as an option for stabilising contaminated sites due to its pozzolanic nature and also in view of minimising the environmental impact. The experimental programme was carried out in the present study to evaluate the efficacy of CKD as stabilising agent at different percentages 2%, 6%, and 14% (w/w...
متن کاملCarbon dioxide sequestration in cement kiln dust through mineral carbonation.
Carbon sequestration through the formation of carbonates is a potential means to reduce CO2 emissions. Alkaline industrial solid wastes typically have high mass fractions of reactive oxides that may not require preprocessing, making them an attractive source material for mineral carbonation The degree of mineral carbonation achievable in cement kiln dust (CKD) underambienttemperatures and press...
